Environments
We call environments to the isolated operational scopes comprised of:
- An scalable file-system.
- An image registry.
- A job registry.
- Storage quota and computation credits.
Both users and organizations have an associated environment.
User environments
Each user has an environment associated to their account. This environment is a single-user environment she only has access to.
At sign-up, users pick the physical region they want their environment to be located. This region cannot be changed later on.
Organization environments
Each organization has an associated multi-user environment that is shared among all the members of the organization.
When the owner user creates an organization, she picks the physical region the environment to be located on. This region cannot be changed afterwards.
