GPU jobs
BatchX jobs can also make use of GPU computation when:
- Their images meet the GPU requirements.
- They are submitted with the following parameters:
- The number of GPUs to use.
- The GPU family.
GPU families
BatchX offers 4 different types of GPUs:
NVIDIA V100 (32 GB)
NVIDIA V100 Tensor Core is the most advanced data center GPU ever built to accelerate AI, high performance computing (HPC), data science and graphics. It’s powered by NVIDIA Volta architecture, comes in 16 and 32GB configurations, and offers the performance of up to 32 CPUs in a single GPU. Data scientists, researchers, and engineers can now spend less time optimizing memory usage and more time designing the next AI breakthrough.
NVIDIA K80 (24 GB)
NVIDIA Tesla K80 is designed for the most demanding computational tasks, combining 24 GB of memory with blazing-fast memory bandwidth and leading compute performance for single and double precision workloads. Equipped with the latest NVIDIA GPU Boost™ technology, the Tesla K80 intelligently monitors GPU usage to maximize throughput1 and outperforms CPUs by up to 10x.
NVIDIA T4 (16 GB)
NVIDIA T4 enterprise GPUs supercharge the world’s most trusted mainstream servers, easily fitting into standard data center infrastructures. Its low-profile, 70 watt (W) design is powered by NVIDIA Turing™ Tensor Cores, delivering revolutionary multi-precision performance to accelerate a wide range of modern applications, including machine learning, deep learning, and virtual desktops. This advanced GPU is packaged in an energy-efficient 70 W, small PCIe form factor, optimized for maximum utility in enterprise data centers and the cloud.
NVIDIA M60 (8 GB)
NVIDIA Tesla M60 GPU accelerator works with NVIDIA GRID software to provide the industry’s highest user performance for virtualized workstations, desktops, and applications. This solution allows enterprises to virtualize any application—including professional graphics applications—and deliver them out to any device, anywhere
